We Endorse the Homeless Bill of Rights Campaign

(by endorsing these 5 core rights, you agree to be listed as a supporter in campaign materials)

Our organization supports a Homeless Bill of Rights Campaign in Colorado that will create bills to protect the following rights and prohibit the enforcement of any local laws that violate these rights: (1) the Right to move freely, rest, and sleep, and protect oneself from the elements in public spaces without time-limitation that discriminates based on housing status; (2) the Right to occupy a legally parked vehicle; (3) the Right to a reasonable expectation of privacy of your property  in public space; (4) the Right to eat, share, accept, or give food in any public space in which having food is not prohibited; and *(5) the Right to 24-hour access to hygiene facilities. (*This will be for a separate bill at a later time.)

Thank you for completing the form below to endorse the Colorado Homeless Bill of Rights campaign. We will review and post your endorsement below within 48-hours of receiving it.

We are working along side California and Oregon through WRAP in this campaign. Together we are calling for an end to the criminalization of homelessness in the west and across the whole country.
